    Diver Propulsion Vehicles (aka scooters) add more range to your diving. They can make a dive more relaxing (by reducing / eliminating the need to kick) or exhilarating by covering a large area of ground quickly. Either way you’ll keep smiling long after your dive!. DPV’s may provide the only way to get out to that special spot under water – certainly the easiest way from shore!

    What’s involved in the course?

    You learn, diver propulsion vehicle dive planning, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards as well as equipment considerations. We will also show you diver etiquette and how to avoid harming fragile aquatic life with your new found speed.

    Who can take the course?

    To take this course you must have an Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification and be at least 10 years old.

    When does the course run?

    All our specialties run regularly year round. Our training staff can work out an individual schedule for the specialty courses that interest you.

    Where does the course run?

    For the dives we head to one of the many local dive sites.

    How do I sign up?

    Drop by the shop or give us a call to work out your Specialty Course timetable. Remember you need 5 Specialties to qualify for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
